Is GSRM20 Ibanez Mikro Short Scale Bass Guitar good for a beginner?
My hands are very small fron-15 cm above the middle finger of my wrist. I am a teenage girl, and is better for me to wait until Feburary 3 and pay $ 20 more for the Ibanez Mikro Short Scale Bass Guitar GSRM20, purple http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-GSRM20-Mikro -Short-Scale - Bass-Guitar? sku = 516,148 or should I get the Dean Playmate Edge 10a Electric Bass with active electronics in red ($ 20 less and comes in 12/30) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Dean-Playmate-Edge-10a- 4String-Electric-Bass -with-Active Electronics? sku = 512,156 I'm afraid if I get the Dean, I can not reach the notes. Hmm. That is a difficult question. The Ibanez has a mahogany body which is probably a little heavier than is good for sustaining notes. The dean has active electronics, which is also great. If you are concerned about the size of their hands would probably be better with the smaller instrument.
bass amp trouble?
Hey. My Laney Bass Guitar Amplifier HCM15B HardCore emits static / white noise each time you switch. But there is something worse than I turn the volume up or compression. It is also possible that my low (Dean Playmate) is what is acting up. Has this happened to any of you? And if you have, what have you done about it?
try cleaning all the pots with a general purpose electronic cleaner. You must be can be obtained at any Radio Shack.
