Muddy sounding Audio System - Amp, Subs, and all that?
I installed a system in my Toyota Tacoma last summer and was the cheapest route. A friend of mine made a plywood box inclined to me, the box is built to the highest standards as a carpenter and builder is the recommended size for my ss. My head is a unit of Pioneer (can not remember the model, are $ 145 one). So we have two subs Pioneer (TS-W251R 10's) for 125 RMS. My amplifier Low profile is a 700M HA, I have cable at 2 ohms. The total system is high, but very muddy. Instead of the serious and precise shots that are hard about a "roar" especially in rock music - the submarines do not sound clean at all! Is it just the amp or submarines can also be held in suspicion? I get clean, crisp sound with accurate bass. Should I consider upgrading my amp and maintenance of submarine Pioneer, or do I have to start from scratch with new amplifier and new exercises - Regardless, I can not stomach how Crapy this sounds, any recommendations would be appreciated.
