Harp Wedding Music

Thinking about Wedding Music? The harp is undeniably a beautiful instrument. Steeped in History, of Persian origin, it has been intrinsic to Gaelic and folk traditions for centuries. Harp music has entertained everyone from royalty to peasantry and was the traditional instrument of the Bards or Planxties of Celtic culture who were charged to honour their clans by recording Histories and great deeds in music. Forever a symbol of Ireland, when played well its music is calming, peaceful and romantic; a perfect choice for a Wedding.

In addition to sounding great, the harp will also look fantastic at your event. Elegant and delicate as the instrument is, more often than not, the harpist will match! A solo harpist or the duo could be hired as a great alternative to the traditional Organist for the ceremony, or either would be equally fitting providing background music for a champagne reception or photo session.
