Assembling a Folding Music Stand

There are musicians who perform on a regular basis and for this reason they need something to hold their music. This is helpful especially when they are performing in front of the public. Music stands come in different varieties. Some are made from heavy materials which is impossible to care. When selecting among music stands opt for stability, height and control. There are portable music stands that are light in weight.

For any musician, having a folding music holder is a must. It is considered to be an essential item. However, there are some who don't know how to assemble one. It is best not to waste your time when putting this item together. Remember that this equipment varies but still composed of basic elements. A normal folding stand uses different part like screws or knobs. With little practice, you will be arranging it the quick and easy way.

The first step is to familiarize with its parts. Remember that stands have base, tube and shelf. The tube will most like have a latch or knob at its end. Unscrew the knob and put it inside a much smaller tube. There must be an inner one, if found one tube. Release the screw so it would slide out. Press the latch or dismantle the knob found at bottom. If they are separated, insert the once found in the bottom. Slide the thing until it reaches the end.

Open the stand and you will see that it would form a tripod. You would need to unscrew the thing that holds them together. Screw it back into place and set the folding music stand in place. There are shelves found in the upper part of the tube. Pull the flaps of the shelves using both hands.

There are times when you need to adjust stand to the desired height. You can do this by loosening the parts that connects them. Push down to the height that matches the user. Secure the knob until the latch makes a clicking sound. You can adjust the angle of the music stand by pressing its side. You can also loosen the knobs while moving the whole thing to the angle that you want.

It is easy to set up a stand. All it takes is practice and in no time, you will learn to assemble the music stand.
